Things to do in Mui Ne

Mui Ne is a beach resort strip on the coast of Binh Thuan province, built around kitesurfing, seafront hotels and easy access to the sand dunes, and it sits well east of Ho Chi Minh City along the coast, not inside the Mekong Delta despite looking close on a southern map.

The onshore wind that draws kitesurfers picks up strongest in the dry season, roughly December to April, while the wet season brings short afternoon downpours rather than all-day rain. The resort strip runs along a single coastal road, with the fishing harbour at its western end still working boats alongside the hotels.
